Club House

Intended as a “new oasis of calm” against the city’s buzz and excitement. The Club house in Dubai’s Sustainable city was designed in response to a brief calling for “an inviting, contemplative space, where technology, entertainment, and healthcare come together to make a positive contribution to the city.”

The design scheme takes the form of a “simple curve” with a pure geometry and warm “wooden louvers” that seek to draw pedestrians through its impressive interiors and lavish exterior spaces. Upon entering, visitors are surrounded by a glowing double height entrance hall, with a fully glazed glass facade that shimmers during the day in reaction to the sun, and softly radiates a warm glow at night to contrast with the bright lights of Dubai. The incorporation of glass at the ground level also elevates the building’s connectivity with its exterior and allows it to have a sense of openness.
